Leigh applies those skills in her everyday operations as President of Avondale Travel. Outside of the office, Leigh currently sits on Episcopal School of Jacksonville's Alumni board, is an active member of Riverside Rotary and is involved with her tennis team and the tennis committee at the Florida Yacht Club Bryan Campbell has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Duval County Medical Society since February, 2012. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He moved to Florida in 2002 to work at First Coast News, where he was the Executive Producer until 2006. After nearly 14 years in broadcast television, he transitioned to organized medicine in 2006, becoming the Director of Public, Me- dia and Industry Relations for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He worked at AACE until joining the DCMS in 2012. Bryan believes that organized medicine is a critical part of American society, providing a unified voice for physicians and providing valuable resources to physi- cians and their practices. He believes that in spite of, or maybe even because of, the rapid changes to the health care system, organized medicine is more important now than ever. Bryan lives in Orange Park with his wife, Sarah, and two children: Lauren and Nathan. Dr. Robert E. Karol , DMD, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J., and went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Rutgers School of Medicine in Newark, N.J. He completed his dental residency at Monmouth (N.J.) Medical Canter and received specialty training in periodontics as Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York, N.Y. A past president of the Jacksonville, Fl. Dental Society, Dr. Karol is also a member of several dental organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Florida Association of Periodontists. Dr. Karol has been a dental instructor and lecturer and has maintained a practice in periodontology and implantology for over 35 years. Chris Panebianco is Chief Marketing Officer at Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG), the leading provider of finan- cial solutions for healthcare professionals. Chris leads global marketing initiatives including lead generation, branding and customer relationship management. Over his 10 years with BHG, Chris has a built full-service, internal advertising agency of more than 20 marketing professionals, responsible for originating more than $15 billion in loan requests. Prior to BHG, Chris led teams in both traditional and digital agencies, working with clients such as Disney, Florida Hospital, ADT, and Peachtree. Michael has extensive Healthcare business, operations, strategic planning and has held leadership at Johns Hopkins and the University of Florida Health. Michael has also written and for nu- merous publications on healthcare topics such as the New Journal of Medicine Catalyst (NEJM Catalyst). Michael grad- uated with his MBA from Johns Hopkins University and BA from Wayne State University in psychology. He currently resides with his wife who is a nurse practitioner and daughter in Jacksonville. Michael is active in many community and not for profit organizations in Jacksonville.
